Today started off normally. Get up, go to school, scramble to finish assignments. Same shit, different day.
Except for the e-mail I got at 2:20 this afternoon telling me my planetary geology professor, Doctor Ronald Greeley, had died during the night.
Now, I had not known the man at all until the start of the Fall 2011 semester, but I was definitely upset when I got the news. It was absolutely horrible thinking about how we had joked about one student using data from "a guy named Ron Greeley" just four and a half hours before.

I wish the greatest condolences towards Doctor Greeley's family. He will be greatly missed.
